HDTV is also known as High-Defination Television. HDTV is a digital TV broadcasting Format where the broadcast transmits widescreen pictures (16:9 ratio) with more detail and quality than standard analog television, or other digital television formats. Types of HDTV include direct-view, plasma, rear screen, and front screen projection.
