eAAC+
eAAC+ is a short for Enhanced Advanced Audio Coder, and formerly known as Enhanced Mpeg-4 AAC. This codec is the continuation of the original MP3 codec created by Fraunhofer- Gesellscahft, but due to advances in technology, AAC files encoded at 96 kbps bit rate sound slightly better than MP3s encoded at 128 kbps.
