VGA and SVGA
VGA is an acronym for the Video Graphics array display mode. A VGA-sized Display or Video will have unlimited colour reproduction at a standard resolution of 640 x 480.
SVGA is a Super Video Graphics array display mode. A SVGA-sized display or video will have unlimited colour reproduction at a standard resolution of 800 x 600.
SVGA has now replaced VGA as the default standard for computer monitors.
