Ethanol is a alcohol-based alternative fuel produced by fermenting and distilling starch crops such as corn, barley and wheat that have been converted into simple sugars. It is most commonly used to increase Octane and improve the emission quality of Gasoline. its blend with Gasoline is called E85; 85 per cent Ethanol and 15 per cent Gasoline
