Wardriving

.. is a act of driving in a vehical with a portable computer, an antenna, and wireless LAN adapter to exploit exisiting wireless networks. Set on promiscuous mode, the adapter recieves data packets within its range. "Wardriving" is usually done in a bid to exploit wireless networks for free Internet Access or to illegally access an organisation's data.
