Flash!

Flash is a type of memory in computing that can continue to store information in the absence of a power source. Flash memory gets its name because the microchip is organised in such a way so as to erase a section of memory cells in a single action or “flash”. This type of memory is used in cell phones, digital cameras, USB pen drives, MP3 players, etc.
